Our Process
In Stitches Rugs was started in my basement after graduating with my bachelor's degree and being stuck at home during quarantine. A small hobby turned into a small business that has allowed me to share my art and connect with people locally. Bring the fun of hand tufted rugs to your living space or business!

Our Process
All rugs start as a sharpie sketch on a vertical canvas of stretched monk's cloth. Then, a tufting gun is used to rapidly punch tufts of acrylic yarn through the cloth while a scissor mechanism cuts the end on the other side. Carpet glue is used to seal the fibers to the cloth and the rug is backed by gluing down a secondary layer of cloth and finishing the edges with twill tape.
